I make custom bowls to order, taking a minimum of 5 weeks as the process is so long.
It includes throwing, drying, trimming, adding handles (optional), refining, decorating, drying for a week, bisque firing for 24 hours, glazing, then firing again for a further 24 hours. So it's not quick!
 
Custom orders are made using flecked clay and black underglaze for the sgraffito (scratched) surface decoration which I can decorate with any animal/ plant/ scene you like.
